Strike the Iron
Description
Named 'Strike the Iron' this ring was inspired by the quote "Not only strike while the iron is hot, but make it hot by striking." which was apparently said by Cromwell himself.
A play on Strike while the iron is hot, his version has a more act now rather than wait meaning to it. Essentially:- make your opportunity and do not wait for it.
Part of our 'Oh How Civil' collection, the 'Strike the Iron' ring was crafted from beautiful gold like brass and depicts roundhead soldiers marching into battle.
Inspired by Colchesters history, this ring was made as part of a set and can be worn either on its own or with its partner 'When you missed me'.
